- Account & profile data(email, full name, institution, year in school, major, gender, living situation, and profile photo) is retained for as long as your account remains active.
- Health and wellbeing data— including mood and symptom logs, self-assessment and screening responses, journal entries, your personal “My Story,” medication records, and health-insurance details — is retained for as long as your account is active so you can track your progress over time.
- Conversationswith our AI assistant and with human counsellors are retained to provide continuity of care and to meet our clinical and safety obligations (including crisis and emergency response).
- Community posts, comments, and feedbackyou create are retained until you delete them or close your account. Content posted anonymously is dissociated from your identifying profile information.
- Location informationis retained only for the limited period necessary to support the feature for which it was collected and is not kept longer than required for that purpose.
- Push-notification identifiersare retained only while notifications remain enabled and are removed when you log out or disable notifications.
- Locally stored dataon your device (such as your login session and cached profile) is removed when you log out or uninstall the app.
When you delete your account, we irreversibly anonymize your personal data within
30 days, except where we are required or permitted to retain specific information for a longer period to comply with legal, regulatory, clinical, tax, or safety obligations, or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. Where longer retention is required (for example, certain health records under applicable law), we retain only the minimum data necessary and continue to protect it under this policy.
